it's inevitable!

Time is running out! No doubt it's still CNY, but i am running out of time for my prelims and then my exams. I must start studying now! Just some updates over my CNY!

6/2/08 - Countdown to CNY
I actually only slept very little cos the night before I was doing last minute spring-cleaning. Removed lots of rubbish from my storeroom and threw half of the contents in there. I was glad i made the right decisions about dumping away some old pillows and soft toys, and also some chairs that we have 'gathered' don't know from where. Went to the market at the wee hours to collect the yummy roasted duck and pork for praying in the morning. Come to think of it, this year is really LAST MINUTE! When i was walking back home from the market, i thought of my CNY last year. We were still together then. Like this year, I had a hard time cleaning my house. In fact, I cleaned the house from one end to the other. Starved and very much angered cos no one helped me! But he was still very sweet and came to fetch me for supper cos i was so hungry! The prata and lychee iced tea, the cute praise that i said to him is still very much fresh in my mind now. And he companied me to get the roast duck too. But this year, i'm myself again and he's not even in sg now. Come to think of it, sweet things are really the hardest things to forget, and the best memories of all.

Did the prayings in the morning and went to Kovan to get the last minute decorations.

At 11.55pm, i was still scrubbing the toilet while i heard mahjong noises from my neighbours! -_-" SAD! teach me not to do last min things again! Same goes for my exams..
Slept at 3.30am for 'shou sui' for parents..

7/2/08 - First Day of CNY
It was a breeze! haahaa because I don't go house visiting on 1st day of CNY. Waiting for my god sisters to visit. But from 10am to 3pm, they still had not arrived. So, 3 of us (dad, sis and me) decided to play mahjong and the stakes was 10cents, 20 cents. HAHA i was the biggest winner cos I won $25.60 just one game! $12.80 from each. To those who knows mahjong, this was my winning tiles like. - 2 'tais' (animal) on table, 'pong pong hu' 2 tais, 'one colour(circles)' - 2 tais and 'zi mo' -Total amount*2, I had a total of 6 tais! Slaughtered them! Then my god sisters came to visit and we chatted for a while. Nothing much, just some updates abt their studies and all. Slept like a pig cos I was so tired, doing nothing..

8/2/08 - Second day of CNY
Woke up with a dreaded feeling! Cos i had to go house-visiting. CNY was getting a bit bored for me as years go by. Visited my second uncle at Hougang, chatted a little and I sang 甜密密 for him. Everyone had a good laugh over my terrible singing -_-" I was only glad to escape! My elder sister came to my house visiting and the two monsters were so cute in their matching thomas the train blue shirts! Failed to take pictures cos I was busy preparing lunch...
After lunch, we took a cab down to my aunt's @ AMK. This was BORED, I was like stoning there. Sigh, it was horribly bored. Unfortunately, it will always be the most bored activity of my lifetime CNY. Then i escaped home and thought of playing MJ with dad and sis. But with the defeat on 1st day, they were just concerned about taking afternoon naps. I just watched tv. Luckily the shows from Starhub cable were entertaining...slept at 2am cos was chatting with YL.

9/2/08 - Third day of CNY
Woke up feeling fresh as i don't have any more house visiting! YEAH! But arranged to meet the BKK clan for dinner. But some things cropped up unexpectedly. YL and me ended up going to fang's place to play mj with her mum. And we stayed until 2.30am! Lost $2 despite i kept on 'zi mo-ing'!

10/2/08 - Fourth day of CNY
Dad and sis went to my elder sis's new flat to join my cousins who went to 'see see look look'. On the other hand, I went to TS executive house for celebration. Pretty fun, met lots people, ate lots of yummy food like crabs, bbq stingrays and big prawns, my fav and played mj too! Was on losing streak but then won some. Conclusion? wasted my time cos i won none, but lucky lost none too!

11/02/08 - 21/02/08 - End of CNY
I started school, tuition and my nightmares will come back shortly. Nothing worth mentioning.

In fact, 2008 CNY was not that enjoyable cos i keep thinking about past memories. That made me sad. Guess people has to go through stages of life so they cherish the present. I missed my mum, i missed him too. But they are really gone, at least for mummy. When I visited fang's house and saw her mum playing mj with us, i really wished mummy was here. I also had the same feeling when i was at my executive's house where her mum made us 'po bian' cos mummy used to make this dish too for CNY. I don't know to do, and I don't want to learn because only her was the best... Sometimes it's too much for me, just to think how many more things i will have to endure or enjoy without her being with me..

I will stop my blogging with this entry. Most probably I will only update it again after my last paper in June. I have neither time nor motivations for blogging. Frankly, this blog was firstly started to bridge a connection between me and him. Things has come to an end, he has a new life down-under with someone new, without me. so I'll be real cool & end it like all sensible adults should do, to end with no regrets. I wish that he's happy with everything he has now and hope he figures what or who he really wants in life!
I'll be glad to be just a friend next time, that's if we ever meet again.

I gotta re-arrange priorities in my life and brave on with all my might and will :) i'm confident this time i will not falter.
May all my readers support and feel happy over my decisions!

This is crazy. I am changing my blogskin, re arranging everything today at 4.45pm.
I am counting my own doom 'cos I haven't finished tidying my room and my notes are all lying around!

so, the blog is up and running again. I am getting sick of posting video clips and not penning down some words of wisdom. hee!
I really need to grow a few more limbs now so I can wash the toilets, mop the floor and cook some delicious dinner!

Mind you, it's Chinese New Year that's why I am so particular about my house cleanliness!
word of advice.. don't come visiting during December..you'll find dust particles anywhere :P
